Chicago Needs a Full Time Psychiatrist

Annashae has partnered with a facility to find the right Psychiatrist for a facility in downtown Chicago. This provider would be running a smaller inpatient, acute unit with fairly quick turnaround. Comp is $435K annually.

Duties:

• Documentation of reasons for medication changes.
• Monthly progress note on patients describing changes in mental status, behavior and psychopharmacotherapy -documentation each day as to updates and changes on assigned patients.
• Fitness Status (90 days)
• Progress during facility stay to justify transfer to less secure facility.
• Review of seclusion and restraints at least twice a month
• Provide relevant, thorough, and timely psychiatric evaluations within 24 hours of patient admission to the facility, 90-day report, fitness reports, NGRI reports before they come due.
• Perform unit psychiatric evaluations within one week (when patient is transferred from another unit)

Hours:

• Mon-Fri 8a to 4:30p

Requirements:

• Valid State License -any state

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
