Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT / CRT) – Pediatric or Neonatal
Unit Information

• Equipment: HFOV, Jet Ventilator, Servo-U
• Patient Population: All ages (Pediatric & Neonatal)
• Drips: Power injection contrast injections
• Scrubs: Gunpowder Gray

Floating & Training

• Traveler may be required to float across all campuses:
  • Iowa Methodist Medical Center
  • Iowa Lutheran Hospital
  • Iowa Methodist West
• Candidate will be cross-trained on the general Pediatric floor to assist as needed.

Orientation (FIRM Dates)

• February 9
• February 16

RequirementsExperience

• Minimum 36 months of Respiratory Care experience in a hospital/medical center setting (required)
• PICU and/or NICU experience; may work across PICU/NICU floors (required)
• Experience with HFOV, Jet Ventilation, and Servo-U (highly preferred)

Licensure & Certifications

• Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in hand
• NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) (required)
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) (required)
• PALS and/or NRP (required)
• EPIC EMR experience (required)
