About the Role
The MRI Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring clinical excellence and operational success within the MRI department. Working closely with the Diagnostic Imaging leadership team, this individual oversees clinical workflow, quality standards, staff competencies, regulatory compliance, and patient experience. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced MRI technologist ready to step into a leadership role and make a direct impact on clinical outcomes and department performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise clinical and operational performance of the MRI department
- Ensure regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and policy adherence
- Provide input into process improvements, operational efficiencies, and standardization
- Coordinate staff education, competency development, and workflow optimization
- Maintain customer service excellence and high patient care standards
- Serve as the primary resource for MRI-related expertise across the organization
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- 5+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Current BLS Certification
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- If ARMRIT certified, must obtain ARRT(MR) within 12 months of hire/transfer
- Venipuncture Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a hospital MRI environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Bilingual in Spanish
