Job DescriptionOur company is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk. This position will play an integral role in customer service and organizational strength of our company. Qualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly demeanor.
You will receive training from the beginning; overview of job functions, review of our plant and office process & facilities, review of office procedures and watch/do training.
On a regular basis your performance will be reviewed and discussed.
Responsibilities and Duties
Account Receivables :
•Review daily route paperwork
•Modify invoices as documented on route paperwork
•Enter cash, credit and check payments
•Build daily deposits from received payments
•Follow up on outstanding invoices
Invoicing/Billing :
•Create customer invoices based on customer needs
•Print daily route invoices
Reports :
•Create and print daily route cover sheets
•Print daily load sheets for each route
•Print Customer statements for each route
Filing:
•File customer invoices
•File route cover sheets
•Miscellaneous filing as needed
Phones:
•Answer phones
•Handle customer questions by taking orders or invoice modifications
•Take messages and ensure they are assigned to appropriate person
