Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available at an elementary school serving K-6 students in the Duluth, Minnesota area. This position is ideal for a licensed SLP with experience in school settings and a commitment to supporting pediatric speech and language development.
Position Details:
- Part-time, approximately 0.4 FTE for the full 2025-2026 school year
- Serve a caseload of elementary students from kindergarten through 6th grade
- Work at one school site with flexible scheduling options to meet both school and candidate needs
- Competitive weekly compensation paid every Friday
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) licensure is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- DHS licensure preferred but not mandatory; having it enables Medicaid billing capabilities
- Experience working in pediatric and school-based settings highly desired
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy to students to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and regulations
