A K-12 educational institution in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a contract position lasting the current school year (CSY). This role requires expertise in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintaining thorough documentation
- Offering remendations to improve student learning environments and well-being
Qualifications for this position:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and educational regulations
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively
