Seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the team at Hilltop Healthcare Rehab & Skilled!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans designed to improve residents' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), increase independence, and enhance overall function.
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate resident progress and response to treatment with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Instruct residents, families, and caregivers in therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, home programs, and the use of assistive equipment.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on safety awareness, fall prevention, energy conservation, and strategies to promote independence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development opportunities.
