Rugged Trade is a local work wear store focused on serving the hard-working communities of Eastern New Mexico. We are a rapidly growing, family-owned company and are looking for a part-time administrative assistant to work in our finance department at our Carlsbad location. Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual with previous administrative assistant experience.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
General Administrative Duties
- Data entry
- Picking up mail from the post office
- Sorting and scanning documents
- Filing mail and documents
- Making bank deposits
- Answering phones
Accounts Receivable Duties
- Send invoice statements via email
- Submit invoices in Open Invoice and Ariba
- Update internal databases, platforms, and spreadsheets
- Review daily invoices and vouchers for accuracy and report issues to accounting manager
- Maintain daily mailing and billing paperwork
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an administrative assistant is required.
- Experience in accounts receivable is preferred.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft 365 programs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.
