Rugged Trade is a local work wear store focused on serving the hard-working communities of Eastern New Mexico. We are a rapidly growing, family-owned company and are looking for a part-time administrative assistant to work in our finance department at our Carlsbad location. Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual with previous administrative assistant experience.

Essential Responsibilities Include:


General Administrative Duties

  • Data entry
  • Picking up mail from the post office
  • Sorting and scanning documents
  • Filing mail and documents
  • Making bank deposits
  • Answering phones

Accounts Receivable Duties

  • Send invoice statements via email
  • Submit invoices in Open Invoice and Ariba
  • Update internal databases, platforms, and spreadsheets
  • Review daily invoices and vouchers for accuracy and report issues to accounting manager
  • Maintain daily mailing and billing paperwork


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an administrative assistant is required.
  • Experience in accounts receivable is preferred.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft 365 programs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.
