A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located in Naval Anacost Annex, DC. This role offers the opportunity to work within a single campus setting on a contract-to-hire basis, with a schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The position requires strong expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology in a school environment, ideal for candidates holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP licensure with a focus on pediatric populations
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working specifically in school-based settings
  • Familiarity with school speech therapy procedures and practices

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students aged 5-18
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district policies
  • Participate in meetings related to student progress and educational planning
