Job Description
The HVAC Helper supports lead technicians in residential and mixed environment settings by handling materials, assisting with installations, and maintaining job site cleanliness. This role involves working within a small team, regularly traveling to multiple sites, and providing essential support to ensure efficient HVAC service delivery. It offers valuable on-the-job experience and opportunities for advancement to an HVAC Technician position. This position has a direct path to becoming a Connecticut licensed HVAC technician.
Responsibilities
- Handle and transport HVAC materials and equipment
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Assist technicians with installation and repair tasks
- Load and unload equipment and tools
- Provide basic installation support using hand and power tools
- Interact professionally with customers on-site
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in HVAC or construction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical stamina for manual labor and site work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must have a clean driving record
Pay
- $18-$25 per hour (based on experience)
- 15 days PTO (personal, sick & vacation time off)
