Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A behavior specialist with BCBA certification is needed to support an elementary and middle school setting in Minneapolis, MN. This contract role will provide essential behavioral intervention and consultation services throughout the current school year, working closely with classrooms to promote positive student outcomes.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 4, 2025
- Weekly Hours: 36.25
- Caseload: 8 classrooms, serving 40-45 students; primarily setting 4 students requiring individualized behavioral support
- Responsibilities include conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), developing behavior intervention plans, completing required paperwork, and providing debriefing and consultation to staff
- Location: One school building serving elementary and middle school students
Qualifications and Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Intervention Specialist (BIS)
- Expertise in supporting K-12 students with behavioral needs
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain accurate documentation
- Experience conducting FBAs and implementing behavior strategies collaboratively
- Strong communication skills for debriefing with educators and staff
