We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teachers to support students across the district in Special Education, Early Childhood, and Language programs. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and want to gain meaningful classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.
- Directly supervise and engage students, providing guidance and support throughout the school day.
- Foster an encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes learning, respect, and student growth.
- Collaborate with school staff and administrators to ensure a smooth instructional experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (required).
- Classroom experience with K–12 students preferred.
- Experience in special education required.
- Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills.
- Must successfully complete a background check prior to placement.
Additional Information:
- Positions are on-site within the Washington, D.C. school district.
- School and location preferences will be considered when making assignments.
