A school-based paraprofessional position is available to support student learning and development in a structured educational environment. This role requires a focused and compassionate individual capable of providing one-on-one assistance to students, including necessary toileting and diapering care.
Location: Lees Summit, MO
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Contract position
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs
- Assist with toileting and diapering to ensure student comfort and hygiene
- Support classroom teachers in implementing tailored educational plans
- Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a related educational support role
- Ability to manage toileting and diapering tasks with sensitivity and professionalism
- Patience and excellent communication skills to work effectively with students and staff
