Job Description

Our organization is excited to present a full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncology physician to join a well-established practice in Boise, Idaho.

We are a physician-led multi-specialty group with over 650 providers, seeking a dedicated gynecologic oncologist who values a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. This comprehensive gynecologic oncology practice consists of two physicians and one physician assistant and is part of a dynamic Women’s Health Services Program and Women’s Specialty Center.

The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional, compassionate care aimed at healing the body, mind, and spirit. A strong passion for women’s health issues is essential, along with a solid surgical background that includes training and/or experience in both traditional open and minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy and robotic surgery). Based at our Boise campus, this role will also involve supporting outreach initiatives to enhance our expanding Women’s Health Specialty Services across the regionally integrated health system.

Resources available for this position include two da Vinci XI robots, reconstructive surgery options, cancer care services, clinical trials, genetic counseling, cancer risk assessments, and RN Navigation throughout the treatment journey.

The work schedule is a standard clinic week from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility in coordination with partners and the operating room. Call duties are shared equally among eligible providers, with a 1:2 rotation and every third weekend being first call to the Advanced Practice Provider, supported by a physician.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, have successfully completed an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program, and have finished an ACOG accredited gynecologic oncology fellowship training program. Board certification and subspecialty certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) is required (or candidates must obtain these certifications within three years of employment). An unrestricted full medical license in Idaho and Oregon is necessary to practice across our multi-state network, along with privileges at our Boise campus, SAMC-Nampa, and other affiliated hospitals as needed. Additionally, a valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho and Oregon Boards of Pharmacy and the DEA is required, along with training/experience in conventional open surgical methods and strong minimally invasive surgical skills.

This is a remarkable opportunity for the right Gynecologic Oncologist to join our team at the Regional Medical Center and Medical Group.
