This is an Electrician position for the new construction divison of a local contractor.
- Lead and oversee electrical projects as a working Electrical site lead on commercial and residential new construction job sites.
- Install wiring and electrical equipment at all stages of construction, from rough-ins to finish-outs.
- Collaborate with a team of electricians and other foremen to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret architectural prints and ensure compliance with code requirements.
- Manage material orders, electrical mechanics, and project schedules.
- Maintain clear communication with general contractors and other trades to coordinate project activities.
- Provide mentorship and share industry knowledge with less experienced electricians.
- Ensure all jobs and paperwork are completed accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to general construction and safety protocols established by the client.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical construction experience as an Electrican
- OSHA-10 Certification.
- Proficiency in understanding and enforcing the National Electrical Code (NEC).
