Job Description

Job DescriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking qualified Special Education Teachers for full-time, school-based contract opportunities in Forest Lake, MN for the 2026–2027 academic year. These positions will support elementary-aged students within specialized instructional settings focused on a variety of learning and behavioral needs.

Position Details
•Full-time, school-based contract assignment
•Elementary caseloads available
•Opportunities within the following programs:
•ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
•DCD (Developmental Cognitive Disabilities)
•EBD (Emotional/Behavioral Disorders)
•Collaborative Special Education environment with multidisciplinary support staff
•Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within specialized classroom settings

Responsibilities
•Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
•Provide academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional support to students
•Adapt curriculum and classroom strategies to meet diverse student needs
•Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
•Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
•Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
•Foster a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
•Active Minnesota Special Education teaching license
•Previous experience supporting students with ASD, DCD, and/or EBD populations preferred
•Strong classroom management, collaboration, and communication skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $31.78 to $51.78. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
