Location: Three Forks, MT
Salary: $105,000-$125,000 + 10% Bonus + Relocation Assistance

About the Role
As the Safety Manager, you’ll serve as the site’s safety specialist, guiding programs that reduce risk, strengthen compliance, and support a proactive safety culture across a high‑hazard industrial environment. This role is central to protecting employees, minimizing regulatory exposure, and ensuring safe, reliable operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert on safety programs, regulatory requirements, and compliance
- Support internal teams by developing and improving safety policies, procedures, and training
- Lead field verification of critical controls to reduce serious‑injury and high‑risk exposure
- Deliver new‑hire orientations, monthly safety meetings, and annual safety updates
- Monitor adherence to safety standards and report gaps to site leadership
- Drive incident prevention efforts, audits, investigations, and corrective actions
- Coordinate safety communication and support the site Safety Committee
- Partner with leadership to establish goals, metrics, and continuous‑improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships in the field, providing daily coaching and hands‑on safety support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered •
- 4+ years managing safety programs in an industrial environment
- 3+ years MSHA experience strongly desired
- Certified training in dust/silica and noise sampling desired
- Strong ability to interpret regulations, analyze data, and write reports and procedures
- Skilled in delivering presentations and training to all levels of the workforce
Required Skills
- Proven experience leading safety programs in a heavy‑industrial or mining environment
- Strong understanding of MSHA, OSHA, and high‑hazard safety practices
- Ability to conduct audits, investigations, and risk assessments
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with plant leadership and hourly teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and continuous‑improvement skills
