Job Description:
We are seeking a Detail-Oriented Order Processing Specialist to join a well-known footwear brand. This position offers the opportunity to assist with processing orders and ensuring accurate billing information for our company. The main responsibility will be reviewing and inputting orders into our in-house computer system, ensuring the correct terms, discounts, and pricing, and completing all updates within the required timeframe.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and input orders daily into the in-house computer system (both automatic and manual entries).

  • Validate and ensure accuracy of terms, discounts, pricing, and updates within the required timeframe.

  • Respond to customer and correspondent inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Manage orders, process billing, and perform related administrative tasks.

  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate and efficient order processing.

  • Maintain an organized work area and files, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of work within the assigned workday.

Job Requirements:

  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.

  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and reasoning abilities.

  • Strong written and verbal business communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

  • Familiarity with Export Finance (e.g., Letters of Credit, Collection Drafts) and shipping terminology.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

  • Knowledge of Sales and Inventory/Accounting Operating Systems.

  • Understanding of basic accounting procedures, billing, and related fields.

  • Previous customer service experience.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • A B.A. degree from a four-year college or university is desirable.

  • At least one to two years of experience in a financial environment with exposure to international or global trade operations.

  • Candidates must have completed coursework in Accounting.

  • Certification in Global Logistics or Trade Operations is a plus.

Additional Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to comprehend assignments clearly and ask for clarification when needed.

  • Organized and efficient with a strong commitment to maintaining accurate records.
