Position Details
- Ongoing assignment available
- Full-time coverage required
- Clinic hours from Monday to Friday
- Responsibilities include both inpatient and outpatient care
- Weekend and evening on-call duties necessary
- Utilization of Epic EMR system
- Long-term opportunity possible
- Open to physicians with IMLC licenses
Practice Environment
- Behavioral health-focused setting
- 15-bed inpatient unit available
- Up to 18 patient interactions daily
- Robust support structure for behavioral health
- Services offered include medication management, psychotherapy, TMS, and ECT programs
Clinical Scope
Applicants should be adept at treating:
- Anxiety disorders
- Mood disorders
- ADHD
- Personality disorders
- Eating disorders
- Developmental disorders
- Psychotic disorders
- Organic psychiatric disorders
Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion protocols, and the use of restraints is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Fellowship training is preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Eligibility for hospital privileges
- Preferred experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
