- Active RN license in the state of Iowa (or compact state) — Emergency Department RN / ER RN license accepted\n
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (triage, acute care, fast-paced ED environment)\n
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association)\n
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred — preferred for emergency nursing and pediatric emergencies\n
- Ability to pass facility-specific competency testing and health screenings\n
- Up-to-date immunizations (COVID-19, Influenza, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap) and TB screening\n
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, communication, and teamwork skills for acute care and emergency nursing\n

- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department as an ER RN / Emergency Department RN\n
- Perform triage, rapid assessment, and treatment of patients with a wide range of acute medical and trauma conditions\n
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record\n
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, changes in patient status, and critical events\n
- Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care\n
- Maintain emergency nursing competencies and participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives\n
