Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support an elementary resource classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite position involves working directly with students requiring specialized instructional strategies to meet their educational goals.

Location: Papillion, NE
Contract Duration: August 13, 2026 May 27, 2027
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Discipline: Special Education

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized instruction tailored to students' IEP goals in an elementary resource setting
  • Creating and implementing lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning needs
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
  • Monitoring and documenting student performance and behavior in compliance with district and legal requirements
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development activities

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid state certification in Special Education
  • Experience teaching elementary resource or inclusion classrooms
  • Knowledge of IEP development and special education laws
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
