Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and document patients' health status and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medications and assist with mobility and exercise routines.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure client well-being.
Requirements:
- Valid CNA certification in the state of Illinois.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely and effectively.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts.
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
