Responsibilities:
• Handle customer inquiries and service requests efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate communication with both internal teams and external customers.
• Schedule and manage service appointments by creating detailed work orders in Salesforce.
• Provide consistent updates to customers and internal stakeholders on the status of service requests.
• Serve as a backup for departmental tasks, including scheduling and follow-up activities as needed.
• Assist Crew Leaders in reviewing and processing non-billable work orders.
• Maintain a foundational understanding of the machine tool industry and the products represented by the organization.
• Perform various administrative and organizational tasks to support the department's operations.• 2-4 years of experience in customer service or a related industry role.
• Previous experience in administrative tasks is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Experience with call center operations, order entry, and handling inbound calls is a plus.
