Job Details
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager for our Residential Construction division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking company, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will be expected to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget, while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
2. Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
3. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
4. Developing a detailed project plan to track progress.
5. Using appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
6. Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
7. Reporting and escalating to management as needed.
8. Managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
9. Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
10. Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors.
11. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, specifically in residential construction.
2. Proven working experience as a project manager in the construction sector.
3. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in construction and web technologies.
4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
7. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
8. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
9. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
10. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
11. Strong strategic planning and risk management skills.
12. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
13. Ability to travel as needed.
14. A valid driver’s license.
