Job DescriptionMachine Tool Pipefitter - Novi, Michigan
Short-term contract position (through Jan. 2026)
Day Shift - 60 hours per week/ 10 hours per day/ 6 days per week
Pay Rate: $25.00.-28.00 per hour (based on proven work history)
Job Description of the Machine Tool Pipefitter:
Individual is experienced performing the activities listed below on their with little to no guidance or assistance from a Skill Trades Leader in a machine tool manufacturing environment.
Pipe-fitter Activities:
- Able to read schematic drawings
- Build headers
- Thread pipe
- Install headers
- Install service stands and lockout valves
- Pipe robots
- Pipe sealer equipment
- Pipe Tools
- Read mechanical drawings and bill of material
- Prep valve pack and manifold
- Run hose and dress tool per customer requirements
- Ability to drill, tap and ream holes
- Use of hand saw, drill press and grinders
Skills:
Can read a tape measure this is a must.
