Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a meaningful contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026-27 school year. This assignment offers the opportunity to work directly with K-12 students in a collaborative and supportive educational environment near Newport, NH. Enjoy a steady schedule of 35 hours per week, focusing your expertise on enhancing students’ communication skills and contributing to their academic and personal growth. The assignment will run from August 19, 2026, through June 3, 2027.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable serving a varied K-12 caseload
- Must be available for full-time, in-person work throughout the academic year
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students according to IEP requirements
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers and staff
- Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation of student progress and services
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Serve as a resource and advocate for families and educators regarding communication disorders
