Job Summary:
The State of Virginia has approved medical marijuana as a form of treatment as well as symptom management for patients who suffer from one of the qualifying conditions. Patients looking to qualify need to be evaluated in person by a Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in Virginia. We believe that medical marijuana has significant potential to improve the quality of life for thousands of patients across the state of Virginia, and we are looking for compassionate, dedicated physicians to join our team! We are currently offering part-time opportunities with the potential to go full-time.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct a physical evaluation of patients and discuss medical history.
- Verify that patients suffer from a qualifying condition.
- Provide a recommended treatment plan for qualifying patients.
- Inform patients of the risks associated with medical cannabis use.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed in the State of Virginia
- Must hold a valid DEA license
