Position Overview: We are searching for a compassionate and driven Medical Scribe to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care. This role is not just about documentation; its about being an integral part of a mission to transform lives. As a Medical Scribe, you will provide vital support to our physicians, enabling them to focus entirely on the needs of each patient while ensuring that their stories and journeys are captured with care and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoughtfully and accurately document patient encounters, capturing their stories and clinical notes during consultations.

  • Maintain and update patient medical records, histories, and treatment plans with the utmost attention to detail.

  • Assist in creating referral letters, lab requisitions, and other documents that help guide patient care.

  • Manage electronic health records (EHR) with a commitment to compliance and excellence.

  • Collaborate with our dedicated healthcare professionals to create a seamless, compassionate care experience.

  • Always uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations, honoring the trust patients place in us.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and some college or a college degree is encouraged, but what matters most is your dedication to making a difference. Previous healthcare experience or knowledge of medical terminology, especially in rheumatology, is a plus.

  • Proficiency in EHR systems and strong organizational skills. Our office uses eClinical Works (ECW), so prior experience with ECW is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities to thrive in a dynamic clinical environment.

  • A warm, empathetic, and detail-oriented personality.
