Responsibilities:
• Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process, ensuring all necessary forms and information are completed.
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently, coordinating with medical staff to optimize availability.
• Manage front-office operations, including answering calls, responding to inquiries, and directing patients to appropriate departments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Perform basic administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.
• Provide general guidance and support to patients regarding appointment preparation and medical procedures.
• Address patient concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth workflows and a positive patient experience.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical reception or front-office roles within the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in patient scheduling systems and familiarity with medical office procedures.
• Strong understanding of basic medical terminology to support effective communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Competence in using office equipment and software, including phone systems and electronic health records.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare compliance standards.
