Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist position is available within a smaller northern Denver suburban school district serving approximately 7,000 students across 16 sites. The district values candidates with diverse experience levels, welcoming both new graduates and seasoned professionals. This full-time role is based at an elementary and middle school site serving Pre-K through 8th grade students, including approximately 20 mild to moderate special education students and some Pre-K caseload.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing counseling services and conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Collaborating closely with IEP teams to develop and implement student individualized education programs
  • Serving as the primary case manager for assigned special education students, managing monthly IEP meeting minutes and documentation
  • Supporting students educational and emotional needs through a multi-tiered system of supports

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license or actively pursuing CDE credentialing (status to be disclosed during the application process)
  • Understanding that case management is a primary duty for this position
  • Candidates must be aware that the district does not accept VOCO or hybrid credentials
  • Willingness to engage in a two-step interview process including an initial screening via Teams with the Integrated Services director and a subsequent panel interview ideally conducted in person

This role offers an opportunity to join a supportive education environment that values professional growth, collaboration, and meaningful impact on student outcomes. The district considers both local and travel candidates, with transparency regarding relocation or CDE credentialing progress appreciated during submission.

Interested professionals encouraged to apply to further discuss qualifications and next steps for consideration in this rewarding school psychologist position.

Compensation for this position ranges from $34.46 to $64.46. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
