Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the nursing care for residents during your assigned shift.
- Assign duties to CNAs and monitor their performance.
- Administer medications, treatments, and provide direct resident care in accordance with physician orders.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, assessments, and evaluations.
- Communicate changes in residents’ conditions to the care team, families, and physicians.
- Ensure compliance with care standards, safety protocols, and documentation requirements.
- Participate in survey readiness, training programs, and policy implementation.
- Act as a mentor to staff, providing feedback and on-the-floor coaching when needed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead others while maintaining a resident-centered approach.
