Job Details
Job Details: Currently seeking an experienced Building Automation Technician to join a Chicago metropolitan area based contractor that specializes in industrial and commercial temperature control, building automation, security systems, card access, and CCTV. This role is responsible for installing building automation controls on new construction, remodeled, and service locations.
MUST HAVE:
- 2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience
- Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites roughly 80% of the time.
- Possess an aptitude for electrical wiring and reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Alerton, Schneider Electric, Siemens, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other
NICE TO HAVE:
- Tridium Niagara
- Schnieder Electric
- One-year technical certificate in HVAC or equivalent from an accredited institution or 2 years of experience in an HVAC related field
