Salary Range: $71,000 - $105,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand forecasts and capacity.
• Balance production capacity with customer demand and inventory targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and supply chain to align production plans.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and material constraints.
• Analyze production performance metrics and recommend improvements to scheduling processes.
• Manage lead times and ensure the timely release of production orders to meet delivery dates.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or master scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for planning and scheduling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for demand forecasting, capacity planning, and bottleneck resolution.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex schedules effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software beyond standard ERP functionality.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification/experience.
• Proven ability to develop and utilize data models for predictive analysis and "what-if" scenario planning.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
