Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years recent RN experience
- 2+ years recent CVOR/Open Heart experience
- Strong scrub experience required
- Must have prior travel nursing experience
- Experience with Orthopedics
- Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced OR environment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Neurology experience
- Robotics experience
Licenses & Certifications
- Active California RN License (required)
- CPR/BLS (required)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, therapeutic, and culturally competent care to patients undergoing cardiac and surgical procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Serve as a patient advocate and promote active participation in care decisions.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and the entire OR team.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes per facility standards.
- Delegate tasks appropriately within the care team and support workflow efficiency.
