Medication and Administration Required: Antihypertensives, Insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin)
Labor and Delivery Management Required: Amnioinfusion, Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Hemorrhage/shock, Recover C-Section, Scrub for C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam
Neonatal Care in Delivery Room Required: APGAR scores, Baby Nurse (“Baby Catcher”), Collect cord samples, ID/Security Banding, Neonatal Resuscitation, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation
Newborn Care Required: Infant Identification, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Thermoregulation
Pain Management Required: Epidural Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Use of PCA (IV)
Postpartum Care and Procedures Required: Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley Catheter insertion, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Wound Assessment and Care
Postpartum Care of the Patient with Required: Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Bladder Distension, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension
Professional Topics and Skills Required: Isolation Precautions/PPE
Surgical Case/Procedures Required: Cervical Cerclage, D&C, Tubal Logation
