Join our Centralized Record Control Center (CRCC) as a Record Management Specialist. This vital role is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of historical paper medical records, ensuring they are properly prepared for offsite storage. Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role focus on the end-to-end processing of legacy paper medical records:

Record Retrieval: Process and retrieve pre-electronic health record (EHR) paper records from the onsite file room/warehouse.

Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry of patient demographic information using the Record Management database tool.

Quality Control & Archiving: Conduct quality checks on data entry and/or accurately box medical records for transfer to offsite storage.

Productivity Tracking: Record and report daily volume and productivity of work completed.

Confidentiality: Protect the confidentiality and integrity of patient information at all times.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required

Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage time effectively in a time-sensitive production environment.

Technical Proficiency: Basic Microsoft Office skills are preferred.

Work Style: Ability to work independently and effectively in a group/team setting.

Problem Solving: Ability to collect relevant information to understand issues, such as escalating urgent requests or problems finding records.

Accountability: Holds self-accountable for complying with policies, procedures, and work requirements (e.g., meeting daily productivity goals).
