Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for handling all shipping, packaging, receiving, and inventory management functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare and package products according to shipping requirements
  • Ensure all shipments include correct documentation and labeling
  • Coordinate outsourcing activities as directed
  • Stage raw materials for production and store finished goods in designated areas
  • Manage receiving, unloading, and inspection of incoming materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts
  • Drive and oversee routine maintenance of company vehicles
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Perform additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned

Qualifications -

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of recent warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to complete forklift certification/training
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control, safety procedures, and ISO standards
  • Ability to use general office equipment (computers, scanners, printers, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience with inventory management systems or ERP software
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a warehouse/production environment
