Job Title: Cash Application Specialist
Location: St. Paul, MN (Hybrid located in Minnesota, only local candidates will be eligible)
Pay Rate: $29.00 -$34.00/ Hourly dependent on applicable experience

We are supporting a growing organization in St. Paul with the addition of an AR Cash Application Specialist to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys high-volume cash application while also supporting broader accounts receivable and collections activities in a collaborative, hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Apply high volumes of customer payments including ACH, wire, lockbox, and checks with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Research and resolve unapplied cash, short pays, overpayments, and payment discrepancies
- Support accounts receivable functions including customer account maintenance, invoice reconciliation, and aging review
- Partner with internal teams and customers to resolve billing and payment issues
- Assist with collections efforts through customer outreach, follow-ups, and dispute resolution as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and support month-end close related to AR balances and reporting
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or a similar accounting role
- Experience applying payments in a high-volume environment preferred
- Comfortable supporting collections conversations and customer communications
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems and Excel preferred
