Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An educational institution in Lowell, MA is seeking a qualified School Psychologist on a contract basis to support students academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide counseling and interventions to support student well-being
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student behavior and learning strategies
- Maintain accurate records and comply with legal and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing, assessment tools, and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
