Job Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to join our healthcare team in Amarillo, United States. In this role, you will work on an as-needed basis, supporting licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services.
- Assist physical therapists in patient treatment sessions and therapeutic exercises
- Set up and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Assist with patient scheduling and communication
- Perform basic clerical duties and maintain organized workspace
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising therapist
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- HIPAA compliance training required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist patients and operate therapy equipment
- Flexibility to work various shifts on an as-needed basis
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
