Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in a general precast construction environment. This role involves placing and finishing concrete in forms, operating and maintaining pouring tools, and collaborating with other crews as needed.
Responsibilities
- Place and finish concrete in forms with precision.
- Operate and maintain pouring tools such as screed and hand tools.
- Assist other crews as required when pouring work is complete.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all Production Team members.
Essential Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
- Occasional crouching, crawling, and climbing.
- Frequent use of fine motor skills to control machinery and tools.
- Capacity to concentrate, understand, and communicate in a noisy and active work environment.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions as provided by Foreman.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift.
- Skill in reading tape measures accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to work in a team setting.
- Ability to cross-train in different areas.
- Experience in heavy manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Experience in construction or concrete work is advantageous.

Work Environment
The work environment is a heavy manufacturing setting focused on pouring precast concrete panels. While it is generally clean and neat, it can be dirty and involves heavy lifting of up to 60 pounds. Tasks include repetitive raking or floating of concrete panels. The building is not climate-controlled, which means it can be hot in summer and cool in winter. The position operates on 3rd shift hours starting at midnight until 9 or 10 AM, depending on the workload.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EPHRATA, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
