Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and review complex international tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profits.
- Review tax returns including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041 for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct technical tax research and provide solutions for diverse international clientele.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships while delivering exceptional service.
- Lead, train, and mentor professional tax staff.
- Collaborate with tax leadership to grow the firm’s international tax practice.
- Ensure compliance with federal and international tax laws.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, especially during tax season (>40 hours/week).
Qualifications – Needed:
- CPA license highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Master’s in Taxation highly preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on international tax.
- At least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Proven experience reviewing complex returns (1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041).
- Strong technical tax research skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse international clientele.
- Ability to lead, supervise, and develop professional staff.
- Demonstrated ability to grow a practice.
- Willingness to work extended hours during busy season.
