Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing or Special Education is required.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education

Valid MD teaching certification (DHH or Special Education endorsement)

Experience working with hearing-impaired students across grade levels

ASL proficiency a plus
Position Overview:

Provide instruction tailored to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in inclusive or pull-out settings

Develop and track IEP goals aligned to student needs

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including audiologists and speech therapists
