United Community Pharmacy is looking for a Casual Pharmacist to join our experienced team in a closed-door pharmacy setting. We serve individuals in their homes, group homes, and assisted living communities—delivering safe, timely, and accurate medications directly to where they’re needed most. Our mission is to make healthcare more accessible and person-centered, and our pharmacists play a key role in that effort.
What You'll Do:
- Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy of dosage, interactions, and labeling
- Provide clinical insight and drug utilization review for complex patient populations
- Collaborate with technicians and support staff to maintain workflow efficiency
- Oversee medication preparation and ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, state, and federal laws)
- Support care coordination for residents with mental health, behavioral health, and chronic conditions
- Serve as a resource for medication-related questions from staff and caregivers
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Minnesota Pharmacist License in good standing
- Experience in a retail, LTC, or closed-door pharmacy setting (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to high-quality care
