Plant Manager | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $138,000 - $189,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage the plant budget, control expenses, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the plant management team and workforce.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on lean manufacturing and process optimization.
- Maintain high product quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Recommended Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3-5 years as a Plant Manager or Operations Manager.
- Strong understanding and proven application of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and cost control within a manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience leading automation or Industry 4.0 initiatives
- MBA or Master's degree in a related technical field
- Prior experience managing operations across multiple manufacturing sites
