A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in a hospital setting. This role requires a confident and experienced nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with current certifications in ACLS and BLS
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a hospital with comparable size and acuity
- Successful completion of at least one travel nursing contract is preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Expertise in monitoring and managing patients requiring intermediate or critical care

Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care to stepdown/PCU patients, monitoring vital signs and responding to changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols and physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Accurately document patient information and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
