ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the HR department, including but not limited to maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, and reporting all employee-related inquiries to the HR Director.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by assisting with job advertisements and coordinating candidate communication.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing paperwork, organizing orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Assist in offboarding procedures for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews and processing necessary paperwork.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and physical files. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries. Support employees with benefit-related questions.
- HR Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure adherence.
- Employee Relations: Provide support in resolving employee inquiries and concerns, escalating issues as needed to HR Director. Assist in fostering positive employee relations and a supportive work environment.
- HR Projects: Participate in HR initiatives and projects as assigned, such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, or process improvements.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in an HR support role or administrative position is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasionally required to stand for long periods and walks, climbs stairs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, bends, stretches and twists or reaches.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment (e.g. business office with computers, printers, copy and fax machines, moderate traffic).
- Must be able to handle hot and cold interior and outdoor conditions.
- Indoor and outdoor - ability to tolerate all seasonal weather conditions.
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced, high-end, sophisticated environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Country Club or Golf Club experience is a plus but not required.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- CPR/AED and/or First Aid Certification a plus.
