\n\nQualifications / Job Requirements\n

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey\n
- Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience\n
- BLS certification (AHA) required\n
- Strong clinical skills in Med/Surg; familiarity with specialties such as Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, and Pediatric OR is a plus\n
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities\n
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation\n
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

- Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical unit as a Med/Surg RN\n
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans\n
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and report to the interdisciplinary healthcare team\n
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document appropriately\n
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to support optimal patient outcomes\n
- Maintain accurate patient records, handoffs, and shift reports\n
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety protocols\n
