ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Complete the assembly of both simple and complex components-without supervision.
· Complete the assembly of complex components according to measured cycle time.
· Complete the fit, function and testing of assembled mechanical and electrical components.
· Properly utilize required hand tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks according to verbal and written work instructions.
· Understanding of electrical test equipment (amp probe, multimeters) required.
· Work with the Manufacturing Manager, Quality Manager and Manufacturing Engineer to identify non-conformances and opportunities for manufacturing improvements.
· Troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test assembled components-without supervision.
· Perform 5S daily and continuously work to improve performance of the work cell.
· Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned or directed.
Requirements:
2 or more years of mechanical assembly/installation or repair experience
Know how to read and interpret complex assembly drawings.
Know how to read and interpret calibrated equipment used in assembly
Have a good knowledge of the use of all tools (hand/powered) used in the assembly process.
