Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional Saturdays

Compensation: Hourly rates range from$26.00 to $35.25, based on licensure and experience

Responsibilities:

  • Complete radiographic studies of patient per the doctor’s orders
  • Ensure all x-ray reports are reviewed by provider and placed in patient chart in accordance with HIPPA law.
  • Send out all films electronically for over read by radiologist.
  • Provide provider with radiographic studies of patients within scope of license.
  • Follow all ARRT procedures for patient care which includes patient shielding.
  • Keep all x-ray records up to date.
  • Send x-ray film badges for radiation dosimeter report each month.
  • Keep logs on all x-rays loaned and returned.
  • Keep x-ray room neat and orderly at all times.
  • Clean x-ray table daily and as needed.
  • Assist with both front and back-office duties as needed including taking vitals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight), checking patients’ vision, hearing, pulmonary function tests, injections, phlebotomist, EKGs, and UA dip, patient check in and check out, dispensing medication, educating patients on DME and rooming patients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiology (RT) or Limited Scope X-Ray Technician (LSO) program. ARRT certification if applicable.
  • Current First Aid/ CPR certification from recognized program (American Red Cross, etc.) required or completed within first 60 days of employment.
  • Certification for Federal and Non-Federal Drug Testing and Breath Alcohol Testing required or completed within first 60 days of employment.
  • Must be able to communicate through written instructions and complete routine written logs and reports.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal instructions, as well as respond to audible stimuli.
